  1. Hi, Super newbie here. I am trying to put a clipping mask over a vector PDF architecture plan that has been brought in to Publisher. I have tried to use the pen tool to create a mask which does work, but when the file is exported as PDF this masked image is rasterized. Anyone know why this is happening and how to get it to be a vector mask (if possible)?.. Many thanks
  2. Why when I place a vector object over another object with the blending mode is set to erase I can still see the online of the object underneath? The edge of the circle is still visible when the rectangle is being used as a vector mask and set to erase. This happens also to the edge of photos as well when I select this type of blending mode. I thought it may be a screen artifact, but it prints as well.
  3. I am trying to subtract from an enclosed vector but I cannot find an option to do this in Affinity Photo. I can do this in PS CS5, I tried doing this in Affinity Photo but I do not see a subtract from mask option. The window on the house vector is an example of what I am trying to accomplish, I watched all the vector cropping Affinity videos but I couldn't find anything about subtracting from a vector mask. If you know how this can be done please let me know, thanks!
  4. It was working fine, then, after I made an adjustment - moving the image behind the mask 350 pixels to the left - (which used to take about 10 seconds in DrawPlus with the crop tool) export insists that the image is 350 pixels than it is and the jpeg exports with 350 pixels of white space beside it. Navigator shows the correct size when I select the full image. Something as basic as this shouldn't be having problems. Now I have to rebuild the entire diagram and try to work out what the problem is. Terrible for workflow.
