  1. Hi, I am running an art studio in Berlin (lifelike-figures.com), I shoot my own art/products and need to edit the photos then. I am more practical, not a computer nerd. Have been using a super old CS2 for editing for ages, but- surprise!- it is really not compatible anymore with my windows7 :(. I just bought and installed Affinity Photo, I thinks it's a great software. I tried to learn it using tutorials- but I hate tutorials, not my type of learning :(. I am looking for someone in Berlin (I am located at Neukölln), who is dealing with photoediting a lot and professionally, who is good at teaching, good at using this software and can bring my very old photpshop knowledge UP TO DATE! I would apprechiate if that person could come to my studio for 1 or two hours per week until I am "fluent" at affinity photo :). Of course I pay, price can be discussed. German speaking person preferred, I speak english well, but it would be easier in the end. Anyone interested? Best Lisa
  2. Hello everyone I recently got Affinity designer after years of Illustrator. I love the program but am still getting the hang of it. Can anyone tell me how I can get the curves I want whilst using the pen tool? Just like on Illustrator, I click once with the pen to create a point. I click again to create the next point. The line path from point A to point B has a really wonky curve and is not at all what I want. This mainly happens when I'm drawing clouds or trees. I can't seem to get the perfect line and curves that I want without using the node tool to edit my lines or just using smart mode. Dragging the mouse doesn't help me to get the curves or shape I want either. Is this just the way Affinity works or is there some setting that I am unaware of? i'd really appreciate any advise here! Thanks so much :)

They are all FREE and always will be, why? Because 1. The apps are so awesome and changed the way I work 2. There is such a great community on here and 3. Matt P is really cool ;) (thank you).
