  1. I cannot insert special characters (Character Map) in all Affinity apps on Windows, using the Alt + 0149, Alt + 163, Alt + 169, Alt + 174 and Alt + 176 hotkeys. I can do it in other applications (Notepad, Notepad++, WPS Office, Libre Office and VectorStyler), except Microsoft Word. My operating system is Windows 11 Home Single Language 64-bit (10.0, Build 22000). This is the first time I installed Affinity software on my PC and the version is 2.0.3. I have restarted the PC after the installation is done.
  2. Is there a way to insert bullet point as a special character (Character Map) into a text in Affinity Designer on Windows? I know there are some buttons to automate the bullet point generation in Affinity Designer, but they are too restrictive sometimes. In Adobe Illustrator, VectorStyler and Notepad++ on Windows, we can insert a bullet point into a text, by pressing Alt + 0149 keys. Doing this in Affinity Designer will just generate an outlined rectangle
  3. Coming from a Mac, then switching to Windows about 3 years ago, I've come to rely on character maps and glyph palettes for special characters, since I never mastered Unicode keystrokes. I'm a longtime user of Illustrator at work but chose not to upgrade a number of years ago at home. I'm very excited about Affinity Designer but the inability to access OT and special characters is a non-starter for me. Will this be included at some future point? Thanks! Deb
