  1. I was excited that Affinity Retouch was added as an extension to the Edit function in Mac Photos. The Tonality extension is also now available with El Capitain update. may be it is just me but I noticed that Retouch did not appear to offer much of a range of basic adjustments, cropping for instance. As it is coincidentally going head to head with Tonality (as far as black and white is concerned) I find it easier to use Tonality for a quick conversion because it is more comprehensive. I prefer to use the full version of Affinity with its limited Nik plugins for anything serious.
