  1. Was able to fix the problem, but it is not very intuitive. Searching for similar issues is difficult as it is hard to explain and even harder to search for given how some people describe the issue. However, I came across the following post and sample file which clued me in on how to properly "clip" my vectors so that the export uses only the visible portion of the selection. Not sure what the purpose of "Mask to Below" if you cannot expect the export to use the extents of visible items, and not the underlying extents. Plus I am still not sure why this works as a mask? Anyway, hope it helps someone else with this issue, but I recommend the developers revist this issue to make sure only "visible extents" are included in an export when using masks.
  2. The issue also extends to exports. Using both Persona and exporting individually. When I select the group to export, the transform panel shows the correct size at 76px by 76px, but when i go to export and choose "Selection without background", it shows the size to be 81px x 76px. Sure enough, when I open the exported PNG, it shows a blank 5px wide area where my "masked" object would be if not clipped. I do not have any FX on any layer, that may throw out shadows or similar that the exporter may take in account for growing the size? I also double-checked that the coordinates are on round integers (based on unrelated fixes I saw while trying to fix this issue) How do I fix this?
  3. There appears to be a bug in how Designer establishes alignment. I have a group of objects and on one layer, the shape actually extends beyond the desired outer bounds of my group. I am using this particular object across multiple groups that have a different size for ease of editing. So, for this group I masked it to the desired outer bounds. When I try to center align this masked group to another object, it seems to use the center of the unmasked shape instead of the visible masked shape, so alignment is off center. Is there a setting to change to make it align to visible center instead of actual object unmasked center, or is this a bug? Thanks!
  4. Whenever I create a Designer file on my iPad and save it to iCloud Drive, on my Mac, I cannot change the file association while the file is in iCloud Drive. It keeps associating it with Affinity Photo. If I move the file out of iCloud drive, then I can change the association to Designer. Not sure if this an Affintiy issue or an Apple issue, but figured I would post here in case something on your side is confusing the file association. Thanks!
