Thanks ... If I stay in Affinity ecosystem (APho+APub+ADes) ... and only output from my design agency is in PDF format ... then ... if I understand your words ... .afphoto format is a better choice.

Please advise me... When I make prepress file in A.Publisher I use photos ( :-) ) ... Photos are modified in A.Photo ... and at the end I can export them from A.Photo as CMYK .tiff or save as CMYK .afphoto format ... Photos later import in A.Publisher, add text and other graphical element and make pdf ... In your opinion ... is it better to use .tiff or .afphoto format for images ... ? Is there any quality issues in .tiff conversion...

I create empty picture frame using Picture Frame tool, Replace image button on menu upwards ... New windows open with file explorer, and two buttons below Embed picture and Link picture...By default it is selected as Embed... I always use Link image in my catalogues... But in this case, whatever I select image is Linked... (untitled.jpg) I know that I set in Document Setup, that I prefer Linked image... But in that case, I think that Linked radio button has to be select by default... (untitled2.jpg)

Tiff image exported from 1.7 Beta could not be imported in QuarkXpress .... nor in Corel PainShop Pro ... Could be opened in COrel Photo-Paint and Adobe Photoshop ... Something in preview is problem from 1.7 version ... Tiff from 1.6 Version is importable/openable .... test.tiff
