DEFAULT settings. Example: Default crop settings are ‘unconstrained' and 180 dpi. Every time I crop I have to change the type and resolution. Why aren’t these default settings (and many others such as units, etc.) able to be preconfigured by the user? You can do this with templates but program defaults apply to files created with RAW and drag n drop. I want the workspace to have specific settings that I configure, not some arbitrary presets.

Afphoto is sorely missing default configuration settings like units, crop DPI, crop mode, etc. You can make presets in a template file but they should be user-configurable for new files created from RAW.

I find the following features missing in designer: an Illustrator-like effects gallery including median, pixelate, distort, etc. It would be nice to have the ability to create and save filter combinations, similar to the way styles are managed. Looking forward to the day when I can retire Adobe for good.

When selecting a page size under the print menu there are about 100 randomly ordered options. Many of these I will never use, and some of those that I do (17x22) are difficult to find. It would be great (if it does not already exist) to have a way to edit and order this list.

I've been working with very large files in PS and running into their frustrating file size limits. What are the size limits of of Affinity Photo - file size per format and image pixel limits? Thanks -
