Thanks for the assist. It turns out the update problem was due to installing the same (initial) Publisher download on 2 computers.

Attempted to install update 58. It failed and removed 57. Publisher Public Beta folder is displayed in Program Files > Affinity with 0 bytes. Now I'm not able to reinstall 57.
