I meant "sent it to the Bin"!!! I wish I could have sent it to the lion!

I am trying to tidy up my MacBook air. I can't seem to delete .afpub documents. I found one document on Place and sent it to the lion, but the other one doesn't show up in Place, nor can I find in the Finder or iCloud. I would be grateful for any help!

Hi Firstdefence, Thank you for this suggestion for which I am grateful. I did try to alter the opacity as a way to change it back to black, but it did not appear to have any effect. I think there's quite a learning curve with the use of tables, as things stand. I've also noticed that selecting the whole table (including the headers) doesn't guarantee being able to change the font overall - it seems to revert to the generic arial font. I'll stick with it as, though, as I really like Publisher. Kind regards, Philip

I'm using the latest update (November 2018) on my iMac. I created a table with optima regular 14 point. Half way through populating the table all the text suddenly went light grey. I spent a while trying to use the colour when; the show table tab etc. etc. In the end, I deleted the whole table (column by column as I couldn't find a delete table tab), and started again with a new table. I now have black, optima, regular, 14 point and I'll leave the page at that for fear of going prematurely grey! What did I do wrong? All help gratefully received

Hi Chris, Very many thanks for your rapid and very helpful response. It worked perfectly and I am now using the updated version. I should have mentioned that I'm working on a Mac - sorry! Despite the learning curve, I'm really enjoying Publisher. I'm really impressed with the Forum ! Kind regards, Philip

I'm using the Beta version of Publisher and have downloaded upgrades as they are announced. This week I was invited to download an upgrade. A third of the way through the download, it stopped. Clicking on this file in my downloads folder merely shows an unfinished download and gives no way forward in continuing the download. Today, another notification arrived, so I clicked on it as instructed. This simply takes you to the Forum which does not appear to feature a download section. Is this just me being stupid or is there something wrong on the system? Any constructive advice would be welcome. Thank you!

I have used 2 Master Pages. One portrait and one landscape. I need two more pages based on Master 1 (portrait). Even though I select Master 1, the new pages are in landscape format and yet have the Master 1 logo somewhere off the page. I've treble checked and it still comes up in this way.

I'm creating a table. I've created a second master page (landscape, A4). To fit in all the data I need, I'm using Optima regular 7pt. My problem is that a|) the background won't change from light grey and b) the font won't change from mid-grey. Elsewhere on the document using first master page and just using text frames, I appear to be able to change anything I wish. Is there something I'm missing or is there an issue with tables in general? I would appreciate help with this. I haven't attached the page in question as it contains member contact details for a club.
