Hi I've just upgraded to Affinity Publisher 1.8.3 and have an issue with text boxes. The text box has a black background fill even when the fields are set to no colour. I've had no problems with this in any other version of this app. any help would be appreciated as I've just started a time critical job...

Hi I've just started with the affinity suite to get away from the extortionate prices of Adobe, I mainly use affinity photo to process jpegs to place in to a newspaper - the steps are open jpeg, convert profile to CMYK ISOnewspaper26v4 then resize to 300dpi. 70% of the time it crashes after the new colour profile is selected. So Ive had to go back to using an older copy of photoshop to carry out this task, on the other hand Publisher seems to be performing ok for the layout of the newspaper. Any help would be appreciated. Hi I'm very new to The Affinity suite - recently invested in the whole Affinity package as want to steer away from Adobe. I'm running the latest version of Affinity photo on Mac OS El Capitan 10.11.6 and the photo app just keeps crashing constantly. Publisher and designer run fine but not photo, any advice would be appreciated.....

Hi folks I'm new to affinity and new to the forum, just downloaded the beta of publisher for mac and seems to be very buggy (which is to be expected as its in beta) I'm looking for an inDesign replacement and I'm hoping this will be suitable when its fully developed. Anyways down to the problem I created a 28pp tabloid sized doc and it repeatedly crashed when formatting the columns - not a moan just pointing out an issue. super exited about this app. cheers Adam
