Hello!
I'm suggesting an additional persona or mode for beginners and intermediates to better use the Designer on the Desktop version. I've noticed that in my usage of both the iPad and Desktop apps, the iPad version takes the learning curve of the software way down and even better helps you to understand how certain features of Designer function. I know this isn't necessarily a new idea but I've seen certain software put this idea of an easy mode into practice with quite a bit of success. I think it would definitely open up the app to a lot more people, and in the future, tie the two versions together.
