I guess you mean a file with no header and just a sequence of bytes. No, Affinity cannot export or import that.
Alright, thanks!

Thank you both for the solutions, they were tons of help! I have one more question while we're at it; is Affinity able to export in the .raw format?

That's a little but confusing, as the slice shown in the persona has a violet border. But, could you elaborate on giving the same position and size? I'd like to know where to find that in the GUI

I've been messing around with export persona and slices, and I'm trying to figure this out: I'm creating a heightmap for a game and I'm using a series of snapped squares to keep scale. What I'm trying to do is draw an image in a lay over all of these squares, then select a square and use it to create a slice that will export the corresponding part of the top layer. Unfortunately I keep on ending up with appropriately-sized blank squares or the entire image exported, or both. I'm not quite sure how the selection works; if someone could explain this to me it would be much appreciated.
Export Persona automatically sizes

Hello, I'm currently trying to figure out how to stop the export persona from changing the size of my slices. I have an object set of odd dimensions, ex. 513x513, but when I create a slice from that object the slice's dimensions are 514x514. I originally thought that it was just affinity giving the border a little but of cushion, but setting the rectangle size for 512x512 keeps it at 512x512. If there's a way to prevent this I'd love to know it, as I need very specific dimensions and I'm exporting dozens of these while having to change the dimensions manually.
