  1. Sorry for the late reply. Please view the video below. It's in real time and you can see how long the startup time is. Also only cpu is being used mostly at 10% during this whole process. No disk/memory/gpu usage is noticed. After the app loads, I create a new document and try to click on every tab on the right side. You can see the delay in response there as well. I try and add some rectangles and some pen strokes and you can see the delay there as well. Thank you for any assistance on this. 24_02_27_095007.mp4
  2. I tried every version that was available in my account and every version of Designer/Publisher/Photo lags upon startup in latest updated version of Windows 10. However, this has been going on for a few months for me. I'm posting now after not finding any solutions in the forums. V1 of all apps on Windows 10 used to work fine but at some point late last 2023, things got slow for no reason. That's when I upgraded to V2 hoping it would get better, but V2 was just as slow upon startup. Here's the list of lag/slowness -app startup -opening/creating files -clicking on every tool -clicking on every tab Basically every feature has to be clicked on once and experience sever lag before working normally. This is every time the programs are restarted. I have a fresh version of Nvidia drivers after flushing out old stuff with DDU. Disabling OpenCL does nothing for my situation as well. My computer setup is i9, 64GB of ram, 3090ti GPU. The Affinity apps are installed on a Samsung 970 nvme ssd. Nothing from my hardware setup should be causing any slowdowns. All of my other programs I use work perfectly fine and only Affinity apps do this. I think relying on whatever software libraries Microsoft has is not working. I loved the very first versions due to it's speed and it's frustrating how things changed for the worse so quickly. The fact I can't go back to older version to get around this issue is even more frustrating. I am not in a position to upgrade to Win 11 at the moment due to work related reasons. Please look into why this is happening. The fact that so many users are becoming free software testers for Affinity is not fair. The money we paid to buy Affinity products had no bugs. This is not a fair exchange. Thank you for your help.
