Never mind. Found answer in older query, hit "change to curves:. Worked, now red dots appear.

Another question from newbie testing trial to replace Illustrator. Tutorials show manipulation with red handles in Designer but no matter what I try no red handles appear. Am I doing something wrong or are red handles not available in trial?

I'm a newbie. Can I use the rectangle or circle tool in Designer to make a shape and then modify small section like with pen tools or do I have to start from scratch with pen tool?

Can I import Adobe Illustrator files, documents that contain photos and type? Am considering totally switching from Adobe. If I can import is it editable. If I can't import is there a workaround so I don't have to totally recreate?
