I'm having problems using a non-Roman script in Affinity Photo - the unicode rendering does not work correctly. For example, as seen in the screenshot, the joiner between s and te in the word namaste does not work in Affinity (background), whereas in the TextEdit app (foreground) it works fine. Any ideas how this could be fixed? iMac, OSX El Capitan

Art text tool & unicode

It seems that unicode does not render correctly in the art text tool (using a MacBook Pro, late 2011). I was trying the Devanagari script (Nepal/Hindi). This could be a problem for users who would like to use complex scripts.
