Hi MEB, Thanks for the reply. I only see a controller dropdown with the pencil and the pencil does not respond when I set the controller to pressure. The brush tool has a More button which reveals that pressure is acknowledged. Wondering if the trial version is lacking this important feature?

Is pressure sensitivity for brush stroke variation enabled with the Affinity Designer free trial? Not getting any variation with this free mac trial. I've played around with brush width and size variance. Using a Wacom Intuos 3. Thanks in advance.
