  1. I cancelled my Adobe photo subscription recently and purchased the complete Affinity 2 suite. So far, I have been very happy with the results, although the learning curve for a PS user is very steep. Having spent hours practicing, I am finally getting the hang of it. However, I did use PS again today on my friends computer as he does not have affinity. During my use I discovered Neural Filters, and after trying this out I was overwhelmed. Realising Affinity is not that far, I checked on the forum and found that a large number of affinity users were also asking about this function. Unfortunately, from what I read, affinity doesn't appear to have any interest in a function like this? It looks like I must reactivate my Adobe subscription in order to gain access to the Neural Filters function. A somewhat expensive experiment for me as I need the use of two programs. Given time, I will no doubt continue with Adobe, even though it means an annual subscription, as they are very intuitive and think of functions which will be useful to the paying customer! Finally, Affinity is an excellent platform, some of the work that customers are turning out is amazing. Even so, please think of the future, I don't want to wait three years for the next upgrade! Given my present age, I don't know if I will live that long?
  2. Is there a description of the scope function available - what is it for - what can I do with it - what information does it provide? Best from Munich Desmond
