  1. Just a heads up, seems like it's not an Affinity problem per se. I've now had at least Spotify cause this same crash, also when dragging stuff in a tree view. So probably not that much worth looking into. I'm fairly sure now it's Windows 10 Fall Creators Update that's causing this.
  2. No worries and thanks again! I've been playing around with the Nvidia driver that comes with my Windows 10 install and so far no crashes. There's a possibility it's something with the latest driver.
  3. I crashed it consistently a couple times now with the workflow I described to you in PM, and now I tried completely removing Nvidia drivers -> no crash, then reinstalled the latest Nvidia driver (which I already had before) -> no crash so far. EDIT: literally after typing that, another BSOD. I just moved a shape on top another shape, in the same group. I'll try to delete the Nvidia driver again and try to play around with the file a bit more without the driver.
  4. Aw thanks so much anyway for going through the trouble of testing it I was kinda hoping it would crash on you as well, but seems like it might still be something else in my system. Oh, and it doesn't *always* crash on me, but when it does, it's so far been always in the same situation where I'm fiddling with the layers. The CrashReports folder is empty, unfortunately. I'm not sure if it's got anything to do with Windows 10 updating itself recently (Fall Creators Update), I can't remember whether I updated Designer before or after the big Windows update. I'll see if memcheck brings anything up in my RAM. Thanks again for helping out! Have a lovely weekend!
  5. Hi! Since I updated Designer to 1.6.x I've been getting pretty constant blue screens when moving shapes between groups and layers. The most recent one happened when moving a shape between a few levels of nesting (Artboard > Group > Layer > Layer > Group > Shape). The document I've been working at is at around 75 MB. The crash is always happening while I am dragging the shape inside the tree, before I get to release the mouse button. My system has 16 gigs of RAM, Xeon E3-1231v3 and Nvidia GF GTX 770. Windows 10 Pro 64bit, Nvidia's driver v388.59 (crashed also with previous version) and Affinity Designer 1.6.2.97 (crashed also with 1.6.1.93). The BSOD itself reports a SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION in win32kfull.sys. The crashes started to happen only after updating Designer to 1.6.x from 1.5.x and I get no crashing with other programs or games so I thought I would ask here if anyone has any ideas.
