  1. No doubt missed the obvious setting and this may say more about my workflow than any issue but... Creating an eps file with a transparent background (for use in other page layout software) gives the checkerboard background, which is fine, but slightly distracting, I prefer a clean canvas look. Could there be/is there a way of selecting a colour e.g. white for the canvas only whilst retaining the transparent property of an exported file? My workaround at the moment is to have a layer with white fill switched on for working/switched off for export - which I easily forget to switch off before exporting! :-/ Sim2.
  2. Type in a text box can have horizontal alignment applied, when the text is highlighted there appears to be vertical alginment available on a right-click but a selection doesn't alter the alignment of the text within the text-box i.e. align/top; align/center; align/base. Would be very useful to have this enabled to avoid having to float a text box over a graphics box just for the text. Thoughts? Sim2. P.S. I agree that the text-on-a-path should allow the path to be seen and/or be styled.
  3. Hi 2 all @ Affinity *first post* Really liking Designer and amazed at the speed of development/customer interaction - all good stuff! Anyway... been looking at the type options; text-on-a-path is great, is there a way for vertical type? i.e. draw a vertical path down the page and have the text characters align on the path but one under the other and still be type. Horizontal paths can be rotated to vertical but the characters are (sensibly) still aligned to the baseline path. I bet I have just not seen the "rotate text" button! Sim2.
