I still have just the grey logo on my start up panel and am no wiser as how to fix it. Everything else is working perfectly so it doesn't hinder anything I want to do. It is just annoying and I used to like seeing any news etc on start up.

I have two machines and come to think of it this has only happened on the one which had the Publisher Beta installed. The one without the Beta installed functions perfectly.

Can anyone tell me why since my last update that when I open either Photo or the new Publisher the welcome screen is black with just the Affinity logo where the News and Updates should be? The video square and samples square function perfectly I just miss the news and update information. This is on the windows 10 desktop versions.

I am just starting to write macros and want to know if it is possible to add a new fill layer as a child layer during recording. I have made a signature brush and want to be able to change the colour the writing but if I try to add new fill layer and then move it I am told it is not possible. I am sure I have seen a video showing me how to do this by manipulating the position of the layers but can no longer find it. I am using windows 10. Thanks for any help out there
