Whispercom

I have new Ipad and a WD MY PasspordWiress Pro drive where I keep images when I travel. How do I open or place an image from a source other than Pictures? Oh and I have purchased Affinity Ipad as well as the Mac desktop version ( though one license worked on both (: ) Nick

Seems like a reasonable question, think it deserved a reasonable answer. Felling just a bit FLAMED With RAW files in lightroom all data is preserved but exporting to TIFF and a specific resolution is data lost.

When editing images in in Affinity from Lightroom I'm asked for format and resolution. Tiff is fine but if I open in 240 resolution am I giving up detail? Shouldn't I pick a higher number to preserve quality?

I'd like to keep the Affinity photos in the the native format but the print feature isn't adequate yet. Exporting for printing is fine but a bit cumbersome.

I have used Lightroom for several years to catalog some 60K images and want to start using Affinity Photo but Lightroom only recognizes exported images as far as I can tell. What program are Photo users using to catalog Photo native files? Regards, Nick
