Serif X8 user moving to Mac

MD2 posted a topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

I am currently using Serif PagePlus and DrawPlus on Windows and I am about to buy a Mac. Does the Affinity Designer software match up like for like or will I need anything else to bridge the gap? Thanks
