Thanks @DWright and @Patrick Connor. I'm happy to have the most back for further working on the file. Is there a hint you can give me to prevent such an issue in future? Any idea what was the reason for the file to be corrupted?

Hi @LeLa. Wenn Du Affinity Designer auch für das iPad hast, kannst Du es einmal dort probieren. Mein Publisher Dokument kann ich problemlos auf dem iPad in Affinity Photo und Designer öffnen, nur nicht mehr auf dem Mac. Aber immer nur eine Seite. Und da es Publisher nicht auf dem iPad gibt komme ich halt nicht mehr an mein komplettes Dokument heran. Warum sich der Moderator nicht mehr meldet wissen die Götter. Das ist jetzt schon das zweite mal, dass ich mit Affinity Produkten Datenverlust habe und wenn es dieses Mal auch keine Lösung gibt bin ich endgültig weg.

Thanks Walt, I have included all (as far as I remember) photos directly in the document. So I cannot rename the resource folder. It is a private document (photo album) and it has about 1.9 GB of file size. But there is no secret in it :-). I was just trying to load a document I haven't worked on for a while. I am getting the below error message and the document needs to be closed. Trying it with designer on the Mac I get the same message. Trying it on the iPad with Designer, I can open the document page by page. What can I do? I spent lots of hours on this document.
