  1. After some testing and various attempts.... I believe my issue is with the "RAW Loading" bug that is happening right now. What I've noticed, depending on <RGB color profile> in "preferences" that can have a drastic change on the appearance of my Canon t2i's RAW file upon opening. If using ProPhoto RGB, Adobe RGB, sRGB, color shifts and exposure shifts can happen. At first I thought it was trying to do an "auto correction", because when using the "before / after" buttons on the top of the develop persona, I could see a strong difference in-between each state. Which I found odd, due to the fact I had not applied any sort of adjustments. Then using the "sync after" option to the right of the "before / after" I was able to start my corrections on a linear / log style image. When I started changing the <RGB color Profile> and re-opening the image, thats when I started to see the stark differences. It wasn't until I used either "Generic RGB" or my display's calibrated .icc file that the image started to open up in a standard, non corrected or altered state.... Just a heads up for anyone that might be seeing the same thing.... Could be a mute point after next week however
  2. Thanks Andy, Thats what I had selected as my standard default, however it was still giving me that error. I'm on Yosemite not sure if that had caused the issue. This was only during install that I had this issue. Once I installed, I was able to go back to "Mac app store and identified developers" and I've had no issue opening the program.
  3. Damaged file issue can be solved by going into security and & privacy on your mac's system preferences and under "allow apps from" change it to anywhere. Had that issue until I switched it to Anywhere..... been fine after that. beachball issue, I haven't had yet though
  4. i had an issue after download and install. When I tried to open it, I kept getting an error message saying it was bad and to delete the program. If you go into "Security & Privacy" in your system preferences, and activate "allow apps downloaded from...." and turn it to "anywhere" that clears out that issue.
  5. So, first off sorry if posted somewhere else. I did spend a bit of time searching and didn't see an answer. I don't know that this falls under the RAW file load issues either. I am testing out 'Photo' with some .cr2 files that I have already processed through "Lightroom4". While the file I'm loading is the .cr2 file, it is also loading the sidecar information that was created when I made my corrections in Lightroom. Is there a way to turn this off and load the original .cr2? One a 2nd note for that, I am also seeing color shifts between the file that has been loaded, vs the file open in lightroom. Same working color profile of Prophoto RGB with the same calibrated monitor. Any thoughts here?
