  2. I'm working to restore with a sixty-years-old print. On the right side of the print the image is sharp, with nice contrast, but it gradually fades out toward to left. Any suggestions about how one might gradually increase the contrast/darkness toward one side of an image? I've gotten so-so results by dividing the image into sections and effecting each incrementally but, of course, it's not ideal. Thanks!
