Hi SnowQueen, My understanding is; if you want to save the photo as a jpeg you have to export it.

Many thanks for your response MEB. The reset solved the problem. :D Incidentally, I use a Mac. Thanks again.

When stitching images (in this case two) in panorama mode, I press Stitch and a thumbnail of the panorama appears in the right hand window. I click "OK", the Panorama Rendering indicator and image details appear but no image. This problem started last night and is the first time I have had any problems with Affinity Photo.
