  1. Here is an error that I was able to replicate on my system MacOS Catalina version 10.15.7 (19H15) Affinity designer app store version 1.8.6 In the attached affinity file you can see that the white object is in a group by itself and the group opacity is set to 90%. When exporting this to pdf (see attached), the grouped object has weird glitches around the edge. The version on the right is smooth and round. glitch.pdf pdf-glitch.afdesign
  2. Ok, so it is a bug then. Should I report it somewhere? Here's the workaround I used to end up with a pdf that does have embedded fonts: - Open the affinity designer file in affinity photo - Export the artboard as pdf from affinity photo I think the reason that this works is that my affinity designer installation is a purchase from the apple app store and my affinity photo app is a purchase from the https://affinity.serif.com/ website.
  3. I am trying to create a pdf file with fonts embedded. No matter which pdf preset I choose or which setting within a preset, the fonts are converted into curves. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong here?
  4. I haven't found a way to do this and it would make my workflow much easier. I want to be able to create a keyboard shortcut that toggles the check box in the stroke panel titled "Scale with object"
  5. Hi MEB, I have tried this and it does not seem to change the dpi of the rasterized image. Here is what I just tried: 1) I created two new Designer files. One with the document DPI set to 72, the other set to 3000. 2) I dragged a jpg file with high resolutoin into both designer files. 3) I rasterized both images. The resolutions of the end results are the same. Is that how it is supposed to behave? rasterized_at_72dpi.afdesign rasterized_at_3000dpi.afdesign
  6. I've converted text which contains a lower case 'i' to curves. After I ungroup the text, and select the 'i', I see that the vertical bar and the dot are treated as one shape. How do I break it further down into objects?
