We are working on improving our documentation and tutorials but there's already some good ones out there.
Have you checked the “bubblefriends meets Affinity Designer” tutorial by Sascha Preuß in Affinity Review? or the
The Pumpkin Tutorial by @CartoonMike? Here a list with some more resources.
With time more will become available. Both applications are still quite recent.

I have just downloaded the beta version of Affinity Photo. Where can I find tutorials/information on how to use it? I don't even know how to import photos into it.
