  1. BTW, do you use it for other things than sharpening ? I found it very efficient for sharpening the high frequency areas while leaving low frequency details alone - but are there other possible things to do with it ?
  2. i agree with your comments, especially regarding the default ajustments to the RAW image, especially when mentionning the noise levels which are particularly pronounced with my CR2 files (5DM2 and 5DM3) at standard ISO speeds. In fact, the high frequency color noise is very strong and requires to use high amounts of noise correction which hurts detail in the final image !
  3. I appreciate the possibility to open Aperture catalogue photos directly from the Media Browser window. But there's a big caveat : presently, only preview JPEG files are shown and opened in Photo whereas the referenced files (RAW in my case) stay invisible. Bug or feature ? Best regards Volker
  4. In the Develop interface (Raw) i don't manage to display the Navigator, EXIF and Focus tabs at the bottom of the screen. Is there a way to do so ?
  5. in fact you can switch on/off softproof by activating or deactivating the adjustment layer. But i'm with Uli on this, soft proof shouldn't be a adjustment but rather a view option which you can easily switch on or off like in Photoshop!
  6. I appreciate the profile settings in the preferences for the different color modes (RGB, CMYK, Greyscale, Lab), but i'm at odds with how color magement is implemented. When choosing sRGB, images with ProPhoto profile are rendered with wrong, oversaturated colors whereas sRGB profile images are displayed correctly and vice versa ( undersaturated colors for sRGB images) when choosing ProPhoto as default profile. So color management doesn't seems to work as it should !
