  1. Fisrtly, yes Color Efex does launch in stand alone mode. Second, sorry for being unclear. I did duplicate the original image layer so that I could have a filter layer. And third, I used the video here, http://www.affinityphototips.com/install-nik-collection-affinity-photo/ to help me install it. Yes I understand that this one is for apple, but it seems that the installation is practically the same.
  2. Hello! I just recently started using Affinity as my main photo editing software. I had used it, along with the Nik Collection, on a friends computer, and had no issues at all. I proceeded to purchase Affinity and installed the Nik Collection as well. I have followed all the steps to properly install the Nik Collection without Photoshop installed, but it will not work. I will open an image, create a new layer for the filter, go to the plugins menu and click one of the filters, like Color Efex, and nothing will happen. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but no luck. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated!
