unembedding documents

kayann posted a topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

I noticed by searching the forums that in 2014 the ability to unembed a document was on the planning table. I am new and made a huge mistake of thinking the documents were linked like illustrator. Is there any way to unembed a document in designer?
