  1. Nope: "and not running any of the applications listed in the section showing conflicts with AD"
  2. I just upgraded to AD 1.5.3.69 (from a version more recent than 1.5.1.43) and the problem I was hoping would resolve itself is still persisting: launch application; splash screen loads and displays current version; window does not open, yet application is running and the instance is visible in the task bar; when mouse-over instance in task bar the preview shows black box but no windows appears. Running Windows 10: latest update not yet applied (2017-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1703 for x64-based Systems (KB4032188)). The machine runs without issue, never crashes, and not running any of the applications listed in the section showing conflicts with AD. I don't see a changelog or installer log in the application directories. I uninstalled and reinstalled the same version in the title and still the same problem. I then uninstalled, and reinstalled 1.5.1.43 and the application loads correctly. Cheers, Nick
  3. Hi guys, I'm installing an update and the installer does not provide any feedback about finding an already installed version of Affinity Designer. It would be good to see some differentiation between a new installation and an upgrade. I had to go check to see that my existing installation was in the directory shown in the installer so that I could determine if it was recognising the existing installation. The setup just felt dumb and manual. Would be even nicer if the app itself just updated and provided confirmation (a bit like how Visual Studio Code updates and opens the readme in the editor window). You could put the confirmation in the splash screen when the application restarts/starts after the update is completed. I know it's a little thing but it gives confidence. Cheers, Nick.
