I have the same problem. I can't see te EXIF data or camera data with my Nikon D5500 using Nikon (AF-s Nikkor 35 mm f/1.8G DX) or Tamron (18-270 mm F/3.5-63 Di II) lenses. I have set View > Studio > EXIF On.
