Hi all, I managed to buy one of these in Covent G yesterday - I had to be there at 10am when the shop opened! They get around 10 delivered a day at the moment. Will take it for a spin this weekend and report back.

Good points all, thanks for contributing. It does seem that in most CPU intensive operations it lags way behind the similarly priced MBP. But as it's only 1.1Ghz, who's surprised? The form factor and screen appear to be the biggest lures. I walk past the Covent Garden shop each day after work - they have stock every now and then, but you've got to be fast. Some operation comparisons here.

Afternoon all, I'm about to bid adieu to my 2010 13" Macbook Pro. The obvious alternative is the Macbook Pro 13". However I'm extremely tempted by the new Macbook 12", but I'm concerned about performance when using Affinity. Has anyone tried it out yet? I mostly work in web development, so I don't really have to worry about heavy overheads day-to-day, but I do use Affinity for vector tinkering.
