for some reason there is not much of a change when i apply sharpen - clarity. Before i think last 2 or 3 updates it was working really nice ,now there is almost no difference , also affinity will stop working when trying to work with filters

Ok guys i understand , somehow i had no idea that this fonts have to be installed on the computer in general , since i was using my new computer i guess this one has less fonts installed . Today i went to my older computer and all of the fonts are here until i make an upgrade and for some reason the fonts are going to be uninstalled . Thanks Eva

How to import new fonts to the exisitng fonts in affinity photo

yes they were I was using it on my banners. There was some terminator fonts other techno fonts . I don't understand why they were removed

I have noticed a lot of fonts were removed in the last update to affinity photo shop Any reason for this ? I miss my terminator fonts and other mechanical fonts How can we upload those fonts back , any tutorial how to do it ? Thanks Eva

i didn't use affinity for some time , but i decided to rebuild one of my sites and create new logo . I asked this question before but i am not sure it was unanswered or not but this is what really bothers me . Why the text i am creating is not sharp , in photo plus we could use : sharp smooth super - sample Why the photo plus text is sharp and smooth , why the affinity is not or maybe i am doing this wrong . I like affinity effects where i can take a small jpeg and paste inside the letter , i can't do this in Photo plus , but i am wondering if i will ever learn to do things correctly , because right now i am getting somehow more and more frustrated and i am thinking if i shouldn't get affinity designer instead affinity photo/ Here are 2 simple logos i just did and please explain this to me why the one created in affinity is looking bad . thanks Eva Ps i always export correct size , 100%

Meb will this work on transparent background? mostly i use transparncy when i make glassy shadow of the text but mostly my text is on transparent background. If I create the fill layer is gone go over the transparent background

hi there i have a question on erase brush tool , since i am cutting a lot of shapes from the backgroung i like my cutouts to look very clean on the egdes, in photoplus i was using squere brush to clean the straight edges , but i can't find one in affinity , do we have one?, also it seams like i can't erase close to the edges with out taking off some part of the shape , maybe my setting are wrongle set up since everything i setup to 100 %. Most time brush tool have no crisp erase motion, it feels like it takes only 50 % and action has to be repeated few times, also it feels like only very middle of the brush will erase Thanks help will be appreciated Eva

JimmyJack I didn't save the file for backup camera banner , I was tired trying to figure out why the saved banner is so dark, so I simply used snapping tool and just cut out the banner straight from the affinity workshop which than displayed correctly Thanks Eva

HVDB your picture looks little bit lighter , I have also noticed the moment those attachments are clicked to open they are lighter than the one just embedded on the page . But as for the other banner I posted above in my second post , lighter banner was saved from affinity by using snipping tool to cut it out, and also exactly how it looked before exporting . Second banner is much darker , after it was exported and placed on my sidebar . I am attaching them again to compare, I think there are some changes made while exporting darker pictures Thanks Eva

In photo plus we could change the text to super sample , which would be very crisp/sharp , how can we do this in affinity . Thanks Eva

it is still much darker than original photo, this is why I am wondering why ? On original photo you can see edge of a circle on the left side , after export you can't . Let see mine attachment

Ok is not really working for me , lets go back to the very first banner in my first post , the background is actually blue , but after export it looks almost black . I would like to share my document but how I do that , it would be with the first banner , I did save it as affinity file , is with the affinity icon , how do I send it so you guys can see what's wrong ? i switched from Serif Photo Plus 7 to Affinity , but I would never think i will miss photoplus . My problem is exporting jpeg and png . I spend hrs in Affinity to create banners for my websites, but it really makes me mad when exported work is much darker than expected. Will this be fixed by affinity , or we will have constant problem . My last small banner is so dark it is really hard to see shadow of the text , it was exported in png also but problem is still the same , Please anyone to explain what is going on , right now photoplus will shut down after few hr because is not excepting reg number so I can't even use it anymore , which is not right since I paid for the softwares and downloads . for years i was using photoplus, now it doeasn't recognizes my reg number and i am getting tired to reinstall it every day . So i would like to know if we have in affinity cutout studio as it was in photoplus. I am looking around but i can't find it , can anyone help ( i am asking about affinity) all I see it's only removal brushes thanks Eva
