    Moving Artboards crashes Affinity Designer

Okay, I've had a chance to quickly try moving 5 artboards with everything visible in the Beta. It works! I also double-checked the MAS (don't know this acronym) and that still crashes. It's just a prelim test but; same machine, same load, same file, the Beta didn't crash and seemed to handle this easily. I'll probably still wait for the official update but thanks to the team for more great work.

    Moving Artboards crashes Affinity Designer

Thanks for the superfast reply, another reason why I'm loving Affinity. I've uploaded the file, it's client work so yada-yada delete when you're done. Can I run the beta alongside the full copy? If not I can't try it out for a while.
  3. I love Affinity Designer, please keep up the good work. It's coming along nicely, but I have run into some basic usability issues that significantly slow down my workflow. I think these would be useful for most users. Please add some form of vector trace - I am still keeping other vector apps for just this 1 feature. The Selection Marquee can’t select layers within groups - can this be added as an option or to the direct selection tool. With large documents, finding and selecting multiple layers really slows down the workflow. When ungrouping from a hidden group the layers don’t become hidden (which I would prefer) and I have to do that manually. Can they stay hidden by default unless I unhide the group and then ungroup, Can I change the highlight colour In Export tab When zoomed out with alot of slices. I can’t tell which slices I have chosen unless I have them all both selected and ticked. Please enable macros - this would be useful for many repetitive tasks making long shadows for example Again thanks for a great application. These are just suggestions (apart from number 1).
  4. I have an AD document with around 150 artboards. The current file size is 163.3 MB Each artboard has a character vector illustration in a different pose, to make a new pose I often use a previous one as a starting point. If I duplicate and then attempt to move an artboard, AD crashes. The work around I have at the moment is to hide all the artboards (including the one I want to duplicate) and then duplicate and move the artboards I want one at a time. I understand that this is most likely due to the size of the document. However I am hoping this can be addressed as the ability to contain an entire project in a single AD document is one of the best features. I think it's possible as my system resources are not being taxed from what I can tell. I'm using a 13-inch Mid 2012 Macbook Pro El Capitan 8GB RAM 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7 Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB
  5. The Mac App Store shows Affinity Photo Version 1.4.3 but that isn't compatible with files saved in Affinity Designer. Is there somewhere I can download AP 1.4.4 as mentioned in the update announcement? Thanks
