  1. I know—I was just playing along. And I realize there are many ways to design something, but, regardless, they have a glitch that should be addressed. Thank you. Have a great month.
  2. Thanks for the reply. I noticed that when "scale with object" is turned off, it doesn't happen. But am I supposed to work on designs without the ability to charge their size? Certainly more of a bug for me than a feature!
  3. Whenever I create a curve with an outline (stroke) and export it as a .png, there is a noticeable gap in the stroke. It doesn't show up in the original AD image—only in the export. I'm including both files. Please help me solve this! Thanks. ADimage.afdesign
  4. Hi gang, I'm running into something that was confusing at first, and now--an hour later--is frustrating. I'd like to draw an outline around an object in a picture so I can remove it from the image. The object is squarish, so I made a rectangle around it, used the nodes to adjust it just right, and finished "outlining" the thing. I tried subtracting the outline from the image, and the image from the outline, and sliding the layers of each onto each other in the layers panel. They seem to disappear, which I've seen that others have noticed, too. I've made the outline shape empty (uncolored), and then colored it white (like all the demos show), but no luck. I can accomplish the same thing with the other shapes (ellipse, heart, etc.) but not my custom one. What am I doing wrong? -R
  5. I'm new to Affinity and still have a lot to learn. I've downloaded a logo which looks correct when the type of document I use it in is Web or Print. But when I try to use it in Print (press-ready), it looks different. The solid black text becomes dark grey, and the colors of the actual logo are less bright. The whole thing appears more "faded" than the original. Is there a way to convert it? I ultimately want to print brochures from this design, so should I use press-ready or not? Thanks in advance for the advice.
