Developing Photoshop plugins as the Chief Developer for namesuppressed
  1. I've got a third-party developer question :) Is there a way for 3rd party Photoshop Plugin developers to autodetect the default Plugins folder for Affinity Photo? We'd love to make our plugin installers compatible with Affinity Photo, so users don't have to jump through hoops to make plugins work. We're used to detecting it from the Windows Registry, eg like Photoplus did: HKLM/Software/Serif/Photoplus/18.0/Directories/PluginRootDir while Adobe Photoshop & Corel use: HKLM/Software/Adobe/Photoshop/110.0/PluginPath/(Default) HKLM/Software/Corel/Paint Shop Pro/12.5/FileLocations/PlugIns/0/Dir I realize it's a beta and maybe it isn't implemented yet. Thanks for any guidance you can give!
  2. Looks like 64-bit plugins created with FilterMeister might be broken, so far the background layer displays in the plugin with a kind of 50% transparency when it should be 100%. Not sure if it's a FilterMeister bug or not yet. I can confirm that namesuppressed Softener 2 is not working, but at least some of that looks due to my own broken code. I'll see if I can fix that :)
