For newcomers, there is very little information about what Affinity actually does! Is that deliberate, to coax us to try it?
For my graphic designer wife I am looking for something simple - Corel has become too intricate.
I am still waiting while the beta downloads. It seems to echo every packet, meaning that the download speed is reduced to upload data rates. On a 12 Mhz down/ 1 Mhz up service it takes nearly an hour.
A simple download such as a new Windows 10 preview downloads at the full data rate.
