Mind you, it attempts to open the file, it simply does not succeed. It does not report an error. To me, this implies a bug.

The Part 2 JPX file format extends the Part 1 JP2 file format to allow: more comprehensive color space descriptions and HDR sample representations; multiple codestreams; composition, cropping, geometric transforms; rich animations; descriptive metadata; and a rich metadata set for photographic imagery. I love Affinity Photo and Designer. I plug them continually, however, please add support for 16 bit PNG exports!
