Hello, I'm sure it is out there in this forum but spent 10 min searching with no results. I have a photo of a face that I would like to get laser engraved. How to you take this photo and turn it into a "bitmap" image as I am reading to do? Or at least turn a photo to a true B&W photo with dots? Thank you

Now that's for a PDF. Why does it happen for an EPS file? Is it the metadata option?

MikeW.. thank you! I had the "use advanced features" checked as I thought it was an option that allowed the changes in the "More" export to be used. My newbie mistake.

Hello, Have a job that I need printed professionally. The print companies are using Adobe Illustrator. Theyre having quite the time opening my files designed and exported in Designer. I have made attempts with .EPS, .PDF and .SVG exports.the only ones they can open are the .SVG file and a few elements are missing. Seems to be some sort of coding between the 2 programs despite the file export. Is this the case? Way around it? I don't want Illustrator, became too comfy with Designer!

How perfect, this makes me look like a liar!! For the past 2 weeks this noise addition has been occurring. I went to screen record the event and it no longer happens. Attempted with 10 .arw files and the program works perfectly like it has before. Thought it might of been the computers processor, opened a few programs and Affinity still works fine. The PM I sent you was an email notification showing you responded. When I replied to that it showed your logo as if I was sending to you. Where it went?? Problem fixed itself!! Thanks

Hello, I have been experiencing a problem with Affinity Photo adding an extreme amount of noise to a photo after developing a RAW image. I am using Affinity photo ver. 1.4.3 and a Mac with Sierra OS, camera is a Sony a6000 shooting RAW. It does not matter what the zoom level is on the photo in affinity, its just there, and I cant get rid of it even with the noise filter maxed out to extreme. Has anyone had this problem? Thanks Ryan
