  1. Hello, Recently was asked to convert areas on a map to different colours with the print on the original still visible. Selected the area-no problems, selected the new colour and sensitivity - no problem. Set the flow rate to 100% and opacity to 20%. Dragged the paint can over the selected area and totally covered it at 100% opacity?? Tried 2 0r 3 different methods to no avail. What is the correct method? Thank you.
  2. So I create an A5 portrait and use it to crop my image. Then resize. OK. Thank you. Learning new languages never was my strength.
  3. Yeee Gods  I think this is going to tax me! 1. I have tried to set an aspect ratio and failed to have it store in the drop down menu - so lets get that bit right first please. 1 x 2, 2 x 3 are ratios? yes? So what ratio do I set for an A5 print 210x148?
  4. Thank you for this. I followed the instructions but just ended up with the same image - smaller size. I wish to cut an A5 portrait out of the image I have, not resize the whole image. I have managed to do that but in such a convoluted way I cannot believe it is right. I used the 210x148 as a ratio, dragged the crop bars until approximately right then typed in length and height to match(not equal) e.g. - 421 x 296.... This gave me the crop I wanted but as I say it cannot be right!?
  5. Hello all; first question. I have an image of a football game the final image will be printed on A5 paper at 300 dpi (poi not relevant as original way higher than needed) I have tried to 'custom' at 14.8 cm x 21.00 cm for A5 but as I drag to get the image I want the A5 settings change. How do I lock them? All I want to do is produce an A5 sized image from the image I have. I have read pretty much all of the posts I can find and am still none the wiser. The only video I can find only deals with the preset selections and cropping with no defined shape preset. Regards Sharkey
