  1. Hi

I have a complicated page that I set up to print small labels but have realised that it is an individual page within the document rather than a Master page. I can't figure out how to save this page as a Master page with all its guides and rulers etc. I know I can duplicate the page further down the document but this also duplicates the content and I only want to use the guides etc. Can I do this without having to recreate the page again as a Master?

Also - does anybody know if AP will have label templates like PagePlus used to have so it is possible to print out labels selectively etc? Is this on the roadmap?

  2. Thanks. Open in Preview and Save as PDF don't hang. Maybe it's the printer driver? I'll reinstall it and let you know what happens.

I'm getting a similar problem with Affinity Publisher but that just continually crashes rather than hangs whenever I try to print. I've posted on the AP Bugs for Mac OS forum and am still waiting on a response.

  3. Trying to print a document and finding a constant freeze up or hanging. It gets as far as the Print dialogue box but when I try to select an artboard to print, I just get the spinning beach ball and have to force quit. I tried copying the artboard to a new document but got the same result.

Attached is the Crash Report from when I had to force quit.

  4. It doesn't take a lot of working out how to duplicate a single label x number of times onto an A4 sheet.

Now tell me how to print out just the 4th label on the 5th row or else four copies of the third label on the first row. This is the sort of functionality that PagePlus has which means that you don't have to print out multiple identical labels every time. This is what I'm looking for.

  5. Is it possible to reorder the numeric list of guides in the Guides Manager in ascending or descending order? When adding a new guide, it seems to default to adding it in the centre but the number is always at the end of the list so you end up with a random list of guides which is not easy to navigate especially if you add say more vertical guides to the left of an existing guide. This seems also to be the case in AD.

  6. I noticed this on the first iteration and it hasn't been fixed yet.

Just started a document and created a master page. Added three or four guides to that and then clicked onto my first page (having applied the Master - not in spread view but just a single page on the screen) to find the guides were not visible so not able to place text against anything. Can't find a way to get them to show. This is such basic stuff that I must be missing something really obvious. Can't believe that nobody has noticed this yet if it is a bug that needs fixing. Starting a document, adding guides and then working with them seems such a crucial element of functionality. It looks to be exactly the same method as PagePlus does this. The only difference is that PagePlus's version works perfectly and this much awaited update doesn't. I would expect to be able to add guides to a master page, apply them to an individual page and when I go to that, see them.

I'm also having trouble selecting either my master or the individual page. The grey/blue selection around the thumbnail is not obvious which you are working on and at times, both the page and the master seem to be selected. The guides still don't show then so I can't really work on either.

Also the Guide Manager is acting erratically when trying to enter measurements. They keep greying out when entering figures and not moving the guides to the positions entered.

  7. I'm trying to plan out a diecut shape in AD for cutting and I have the measurements and shapes I need.

I can draw a square or rectangle for instance with the Pen tool and specify in Transform how large each side is.

If I draw an irregular shape, how can I specify the exact size of each side of this - or else specify the distance between each node without painstakingly having to drag it and align it against my grid? Is there a way to do this yet?
