Same problem. Crashes instantly when trying to print. Do let us know when it is fixed.

For the record, I chose the "PDF for Export" option. This appears to turn off rasterization. Again, thanks for the help! Hell, there are no rules here-- we're trying to accomplish something. (Thomas A. Edison)

Thanks. Direct, accurate .ai export is a feature that one would expect the Serif folks to find useful in sales.

Will the new AD support output of .AI files? Importing them is fine but my clients want their graphics to come to them in .ai format.

Designer is crashing when a color is renamed

I can use the color picker to select a color. I cannot get Designer to use that color to fill an object. Nothing seems to work. I've tried every possible drag-and-drop sequence I can think of. There is nothing in the help fils about this. Nothing in the forums about this. Used to Adobe, where this is trivial: there, selecting a color with the eyedropper tool loads that color into the palette and a drag-and-drop of that color to an object fills that object with the selected color. Help!
