Hello, Does anyone have experience with replacing LR with Photos with extensions and Affinity Photo? The latest release of LR has just about done it for me; unless you switch off gpu support you create a massive memory leak when trying to import photos. I liked LR's cataloguing ability to have all my pics in one place and the easy editing and non-destruction of the original so I could go back and make copies with different processing etc. Unfortunately it's just become too slow and buggy these days. Ideally I'd simply point Photos to my externally-held LR library and have that as my main catalogue and then use Affinity Photo to process as and when I import new pics. Anyone taken this leap? Any pitfalls to be aware of? TIA Engstrom
