  1. Info below... How do I give Affinity apps full disk access rights? Also, I remember now the last thing I did was install and use a new font - Amazon ember. It seemed to work fine. Then I came back to the app and it was as described above. And so were all the other Affinity apps. Monterey 12.2.1 (21D62) Model Name: MacBook Pro Model Identifier: MacBookPro12,1 Processor Name: Dual-Core Intel Core i5 Processor Speed: 2.7 GHz Number of Processors: 1 Total Number of Cores: 2 L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB L3 Cache: 3 MB Hyper-Threading Technology: Enabled Memory: 8 GB System Firmware Version: 428.60.3.0.0 OS Loader Version: 540.80.2~11 SMC Version (system): 2.28f7 Serial Number (system): C02R9TFBFVH3 Hardware UUID: B1FA746E-B304-518B-B46A-69D7A4F11E25 Provisioning UDID: B1FA746E-B304-518B-B46A-69D7A4F11E25
  2. So this happened all of a sudden today -- I don't think anything has changed recently, though maybe I updated to the most recent version of Affinity photo recently, not sure. Anyway, right after I double-click the icon to launch, the splash screen appears, then the app interface shows for a split second. Then the interface is gone, as if minimized or hidden. I can see the app is running because there is still a dot under the icon in the ribbon at the bottom, and I can right-click to quit the app... But when I right-click the icon and choose the "Show" option, I get a big gray box. When I choose "Show all windows" , I get a message that says "no available windows". I'd like to try the factory reset option to see if that fixes it, but when I try to launch by holding down CTRL key, it just activates the right-click context menu, which is what CTRL key does on a mac. Command key seems to have no effect at all-- just does the same behavior as above. Advice? -update - and as the subject mentions, all Affinity products do the same thing... Photo 2, Designer 2, Publisher 2 (I have the universal license)
