  1. gradient overlay in raw developement is not working anymore properly! While drawing the line for the gradient, the overlay separates in lines and blocks with very strange forms...anything else, but no gradient. Kind regards Rainer
  2. ok...i just found out, that my "show in finder" workflow is not possible anymore. Seems to be an effect in some unkown state of the apple library, just after importing the pictures. But thanks a lot for your tipp with External Editors, works fine. Would be nice, if affinity would deliver that possibility as part of their own Apple Photo PlugIns.
  3. Hi C, thanks for you answer, but that post is not really dealing with my issue. I'm working with raw files in Apple Photo. Opening with affinity works also quiet well. Therefore I'm using the media manager from affinity, choose the image (which at first is shown as jpg), click on "showing in finder". After that, the related rawfile can be found just nearby the jpg and can be selected easyly. Perhaps this might be a useful hint for some other users, because i think thats quiet more comfortable as exporting from Apple Photo and importing etc. which i found here as the most described method. But that works only if you store the raw-file on your mac. If you use the ICloud for storing the raw-file with the setting to save space on your mac, the raw won't be found with "show in finder" because it's in the cloud. But anyway, my question was more dealing with handling the created jpeg, after developing and editing in affinity. rmc
  4. I'm a new user from Germany. I started working with Apple Photo an Affinity Photo. I'm asking myself whether my handling with raw and the both apps is already the best, how to do it, or is there any way better, to do it: I'm importing in Apple Photo just the raw-file. For the view of course a jpeg is created by Apple anyway. If i want now to develop in Affinity-App, i open the MediaBrowser, develop and export as jpeg with "sharing with photo". But now a new picture in Apple Photo is created wich has lost every information from Apple (moment Date etc.) and also is not in relation with the basic raw-image. That is not really comfortable, sorting has to be done manually, i've got to separate pictures etc. Using the Affinity-plugins directly with the edit tool from in Apple-Photo from that point of view is better, because the "apple-jpeg" after developement and editing is replaced with the result of the PlugIn editing. But i want to use the Affinity develop persona in the app because of the better possibilities (Of course I'm waiting there also for a raw-Batch-processing, which hopefully is part of next updates) Is there any way to create a raw-related jpeg from the app like it is created, when using affinity plugin from apple-Photo? I hope my question is understandable (sorry for my english)... Rainer
