I bought the E Book a few years ago and I wanted to revise my study of it. For this I have to re-download the exercise files. However the download link (afnity.sale/designer-fles) goes nowhere. Can someone help me with this please so I can continue my revision. Thanks, Tim

Hi all, thanks to you all for becoming involved. I carried out the steps that Psenda had indicated, but something must have gone wrong as when I got to the last step (- APublisher, create New document via GreetingCard.aftemplate) . The document that appeared was a single page document named as untitled. As you can probably tell I am not a tech wiz kid, but I will give anything a shot. It looks like for the time being I will have to stick with Page Plus.

Pšenda Thank you for your response. That sounds interesting. I don't know how to isolate a template in Page Plus, or to convert it to pdf and transfer it to Affinity Publisher. The two templates concerned are in Page Plus 9 under Publication Setup, tagged in Folded publications and are entitled Card and Tent Card. They are the ones I would like in Affinity Publisher. I feel it a bit of a cheek asking you for further help, but if you or anyone else can offer me further help I will be very grateful. Cheers, Tim

I use to use Serif's Page Plus 9 for the creation of Greeting Cards. It was really excellent for that purpose. I was hoping to find a preset or document of a folded card nature, that I could use in Affinity Publisher. After an exhaustive search both in Publisher and the FAQ's I have not found anything. Has anyone any suggestions or do I still have to continue with Page Plus 9? If there is something in FAQ' that I have missed then I offer my sincere apologies. - Tim

I am thinking of buying a new tablet and have all three Affinity Programs. Will it be possible to run these programs on Ipad Air? If I duplicated this request I apologise but I couldn't find my password at first. Then I found it and submitted the question again . Regards, Tim

Is there an Affinity Publisher Workbook? If not are there any plans to publish one. I have been out of the lime light for a while but I am back now and I am getting stuck into Publisher, but I am well out of date so if could someone enlighten me with regard to the book please? Thanks, Tim

I am looking for software that can make a good job of creating Greeting Cards. I used to use Page Plus X9, but I am not sure if it is a security risk as it is no longer updated. Is there an Affinity Program that is capable of doing this? If so which one please and are there any relevant tutorials for the creation of Greeting Cards? Thanks, Tim

Wow, Thanks Walt, that one I can do! For some very "Senior" reason I could not manage the other two. I kept ending up with a grey triangle that blotted out the photo. Can you or Michael explain what I was doing wrong before, please? Cheers, Tim

I am sorry if this is obvious, but I am a complete novice when it comes to Publishing. However, I have had a go and like what I see. Is it possible to insert a picture into a shape? If so how is it done please? Also if it is not possible, could it be made possible? Cheers, Tim

I have ordered mine as well. I hope it has it has a glossary of graphical terms, such as chromatic aberration and other such mind-bogglers. That's the only thing I found lacking in the Affinity Designer Workbook. Not having an understanding of the nomenclature used is one heck of a drawback when studying. Tim

I feel this must be a silly question, but I can see no way of importing photos directly from a camera or SD card, and I feel there must be a way. Can anyone tell me, please? Hope you all had a good Christmas. Best wishes, Tim

I wonder if it is possible to design an A4 Folded to A5 Greeting Card in Affinity Designer? I know this is possible in Draw Plus and Page Plus, but I notice in creating a New Document there is no preset for this activity. I image there is a way of creating your own preset, but that is beyond my limited experience. Any ideas anyone please? Tim
