  1. Ok all is working now, if anybody has similar problems then I found the solution was to install El Capitan, it was painful as I had the white screen lock up during installation but finally overcome this in safe mode. Once this was installed Affinity Photo has worked as it should, no issues so far and much faster than before.
  2. Thanks Darren, I will try tomorrow when home from work to see what strain Affinity is having in activity monitor or if anything is hogging the memory. From memory nothing should working too hard in the background though.
  3. Hi thanks for the replies. Bungle - I havent upgraded to El Capitan due to the bad reports but I may have to as the software does not run on the version I am currently using. The other method does not work for me sadly. Darren - It is with all types of photos / files. The software crashes to a point that all buttons become greyed out and then you have to force quit.
  4. Hi, I bought this app after trying the demo which worked fine, the app has worked fine for 2 weeks until yesterday. I load a picture into the Develop Persona, use all the settings in this format then when I proceed to Develop the software hangs and you can do no further edits. It is the same with once a picture has been loaded into the Develop Persona screen once you close the picture and try to open another it just freezes. There must be a simple reason but my I am at a loss, can some one please help? I am using OSX 10.9.5 Processor 3.06 i3 4 GB Ram Thanks Ash
