  1. Aha that works perfectly thank you. And thanks for the quick response, Affinity Designer's support is top of the line!
  2. Hey, I'm trying to cut holes in a group of vectors - the squares that you can see on the attached image. I'd like those squares to be transparent so that you can see through to whatever is behind the image itself. I've fiddled around with compounds but can't seem to get it to work that way. Is this possible at all?
  3. Okay, thanks! I want to fill the final shape, which is why I am joining rather than grouping. I'll just work with the single pressure profile.
  4. When joining vector curves it seems that one curve's pressure profile is applied to the whole of the new curve. Is it possible to maintain / combine both pressure profiles so that the each curve looks exactly the same as before, just joined together?
  5. Hi, I'm trying to create a maze for a game - similar idea to Pac-Man, but with curved walls. In order for it to work properly, ideally the finished maze will be one large image with the paths cut out as holes. The best way I've found so far is to create a compound and subtract shapes in order to create these paths. This sort of works - you can see the results in the attached (green) image. The trouble with this is it only works with circles converted to donuts, and rectangles. I'd like to be able to create a maze of flowing, intersecting paths without any sharp corners, and where the path is a constant width. One thing I can do is to draw a single line and increase the stroke width so that it resembles a path (see the other screenshot) - but the trouble is this creates a shape with a fill, rather than the line itself being a shape that I can subtract from a compound to create the maze with cut-out paths. Any ideas on how I could achieve this? Thanks
  6. Ah yes that seems to be it, thanks! :))
  7. Hi - I've noticed that when I export from Affinity Designer the colours are quite different. Pure white becomes light yellow for example. I'm using a 2012 retina macbook pro that's running El Capitan. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks I've attached a couple of images for comparison PreExport.tiff
